Teatro Terrasse

BRIEF:

The client’s ambition was to create a busy and vibrant lunch and after work restaurant for the financial district of Oslo. They wanted the same ambience as its sister restaurant Teatro, but with its own identity. The client gave us free reins regarding the interior concept.

To create a fun and funky appeal we drew inspiration from the night life of New York in the 70´s. We wanted to bring the funky and lively atmosphere into the interiors without losing its sophistication and chicness. We used oversized patterns, deep colours and materials such as chrome and lush fabrics, whilst keeping the existing Terrazzo staircase.
